Describe Yourself: That's too daunting! I've spent too many years trying to figure that one out and, frankly, I'm no more enlightened than I was at 10 years-old. I am a mix of life's experiences (just like the rest of us). Basic temperament is both cautious and curious; creative; a bit of a leader. I'd like to think I'm kind, thoughtful and a good mentor--but you'd have to ask my students/friends/patrons if that's true. (How can one accurately answer that?) I've traveled widely, and loved almost all of it, as long as I felt "safe." : ) My late husband was a Human Rights professor and, well, suffice to say we found ourselves in some "sketchy" situations while he was doing research--Central America in the late 80's, Eastern Europe immediately after the "Fall." I've had some amazing experiences.
